How long does a filter need to be in an established tank to have beneficial bacteria?

I put a filter on my already cycled (been running for months) 55 gallon cichlid tank to get beneficial bacteria on it to establish a 60 gallon tank that will be used for an angelfish breeding tank. I'm leaving on a trip tonight and will return on saturday, is that enough time for the bacteria to colonize on the filter?
