How to fix an iPod submerged in water?

So basically I fell into a creek with my iPod still in my pocket, and it turns on, but the light is really dimmed down and it has no touch sense (insult to injury >_<). I have no rice, so I can't do the home remedy that involves putting it in a bowl with rice to dry. I haven't plugged it in to charge yet, either. What should I do?
