If we find another earth like planet will we try to colonize it?

yeah so the scientist are searching for earth like planet everyday what if they found one near our galaxy will humans leave earth i mean not all humans laving earth i sure most will stay but in the near future if scientist found earth like planet with air water and everything will humans leave earth
