What species of spider is Black and white striped with an extremely vibrant color of red wrapped around it...?

Much like a candy cane. I've never seen a spider like this before, It honestly looked like something right out of a comic book... It was found in Pennsylvania, the Allegheny area in a wooded environment next to a creek. It wasn't "furry" like some other spiders that I've looked up with a similar description in color, but rather looked glassy.
