Where can I find aquatic turtles?

I'm looking for baby aquatic turtles. What's the best place to find baby turtles and/or a nesting Turtle? Also, would I be able to find baby turtle or a nesting turtle in a creek with many Cattails? And for all those people who are gonna put an irrelevant answer like "u need a license fer dat stuf" just for the 2 freaking points...DONT DO DAT AND yes, I am in posession of a license for what applies to what I am in will of to do... thx evry1
