Global history question?

ok so time periods where human rights groups were violated were during the time of imperialism in India and the Holocaust. one of the task bullets is to discuss the extent to which a government, individual, or group made an attempt to resolve this human rights violation. my guess is that for the holocaust, in Poland many Jews revolted, and when India was colonized, Indians rebelled in the Sepoy Rebellion. would both of these be attempts to resolve those human rights violation??. simple question...
