How do i convince my mom to let me download stuff?

My mom got a laptop and she said it was for us but now she is saying its hers and won't let me barely use it and I want to download something to create music for my YouTube videos check me out RandombTv but now she's a birch and in life top this is silly but shes driving me to kill myself
