Is my duck egg hatching?

I have been raising a duck egg for three weeks now that I found by a creek, and have been keeping it warm ever since. This morning, I saw a little crack start to form at the smallest end of the egg. Is this a sign that the egg is going to hatch? Also, are there any other signs that might show that the egg is hatching?
